PAWS 4 Kids - Stories With Lasting Value Interactive 4 Module Pilot Program

Little Lessons. Big Results.™

Welcome to the PAWS 4 Kids program from Shady Pines Story Town! This module is designed to help children ages 4–9 develop essential life skills like kindness, teamwork, honesty and other gentle values. We’ve built these activities to be flexible and engaging, making them perfect for your classroom or homeschooling setup.

Using our Mom's Choice Gold Award and Pinnacle Book Achievement Award-winning Boomer and Halley Scavenger Hunt eBook, we've created natural opportunities for you to pause and connect.

The Value: This book includes four life lessons embedded in the storyline. We've included prompting questions that allow for opportunities to discuss life lessons such as Teamwork, Sportsmanship, Manners, and Cleaning up.

These moments encourage children to share their thoughts on the story. It turns reading into a conversation about character, helping kids practice empathy and understand how to handle real-life situations.

Bring the story off the tablet screen and into your learning space.

The Value: This gets children moving and actively observing their environment, turning the lesson into a fun, hands-on gameNew Family Members

How it works: We provide cutouts and clues that you place around the room. Students search for their favorite characters while practicing focus and observation.

Inspire young writers with a challenge that celebrates their creativity.

How it works: Students are shown the life lesson, in this case, TEAMWORK, along with an illustration. They read a short paragraph from the characters. Then they're asked to choose the right multiple choice question. When they get the green light they're taken to another page where they are prompted to write a paragraph of their own about TEAMWORK.

The Value: It gives kids a chance to express what they’ve learned in their own words and educators a way to measure comprehension. To celebrate their hard work and the completion of this task, they qualify to receive a Certificate of Completion from Shady Pines Story Town's Mayor, Beauregard P. Fibbs!
